We are honored to present on Art Basel Hong Kong the photography works of Yuki Onodera, which will be the first appearance for her works in Hong Kong. During the Art Basel, we will put on stage near 20 works from her six series, including the most recent “Muybridge’s Twist” and “Study for ‘Image à la sauvette’”.

 

Yuki Onodera is a Japanese photography artist working and being active in France, who enjoys great fame and occupies significant position not only in the field of Japanese photography but also internationally. For years, her works has been exhibited in numbers of main museums or art institutions, including the J.Paul Getty Museum (2015, group exhibition),Hui Marseille Museum for Photography(2013,group exhibition), Musée Nicéphore Niépce(2011,solo exhibition),8th Shanghai Biennale (2010,group exhibition), The Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography(2010,solo exhibition), The Museum of Photography, Seoul(2010, solo exhibition), Centre National d’art et de Culture Georges Pompidou(2009,group exhibition)and so on. Besides, her works has been collected by many important institutions and private collectors.
