Gao Mingyan’s intallation work will participate in “Westbund Art & Design” Art Fair, Co-organized by Shanghai West Bund Development Group Co., Ltd and the renowned artist Zhou Tiehai, the forthcoming international art fair West Bund Art & Design is the first of its type in China staging first-tier contemporary art and design.

Introduction：

 

Through this work I want to discuss the topic of transient and forever. I choose images of kisses as an entry point and drew on post-it then put them on a makeshift glass broad. Apart from the affection through the images itself can be viewed as a prolonged topic of humanity, other forms are fragile temporally and easy to be destroyed. Even the kissing images are not necessarily everlasting, but as human’s general characteristics it is.

 

Living under a transient society, I always try to grab or find subtle yet long-lasting things to support my understanding and hope to the environment around us and the future.
