Vanguard Gallery is pleasant to present you <Gas Station 2> after successfully holding <Gas Station> last summer. <Gas station> is a project that brings different young artists together. In <Gas Station 2> you will see the workings of Cheng Guangfeng, Ou Wenting and Proxy Group which is composed of Chen Haining, Yi Wei, Bai Pengfei.
With the expectation of encouraging collision and inspiration in <Gas Station 2>, we invite young artists from different locations with various background and experiences. It is a great challenge for them to exhibit with unfamiliar artists in a whole-new environment. Maybe it is also a high time for them to have self-retrospection and self-contemplation, which is the initiation of our exhibition: to provide a platform for those young artists to communicate with each other. <Gas Station> is also our power station and nutrition, through the cooperation with many young artist, we are broadening our vision and meanwhile, letting more young people know about our gallery. With all the great efforts, we are looking forward to develop with the young artists.
<Gas Station 2> will exhibit more than twenty pieces of works within a range of painting, installation, sculpture, video and animation. The exhibition will last for one month from July, 25th till August, 24th.
